What is APBC?

The Asia Pacific Bioinformatics Conference (APBC) is an annual international forum for exploring research, development, and novel applications in the field of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. The aim of APBC is to bring together academia and industry to share knowledge and experiences, and to showcase innovations and achievements. It has been held in the Asia Pacific region since 2003.

The 24th Asia Pacific Bioinformatics Conference (APBC 2026) will be organized by National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) and held in Hsinchu, Taiwan. The aim of this conference is to bring together researchers, academics, and industrial practitioners. APBC 2026 invites high-quality original full papers on any topic related to bioinformatics and computational biology. The submitted papers must not have been published or under consideration for publication in any other journal or at the conference. Accepted papers will be invited to be published in IEEE/ACM Transactions on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics (TCBB), Computational Biology and Chemistry (CBC), Journal of Microbiology, Immunology and Infection, Journal of Information Science and Engineering (JISE), and Briefings in Bioinformatics (BIB), subject to each journal's review and publication policies.
